Vegetarian food for everyone

You don't have to be a vegetarian or fast to choose plant-based foods. Vegetarian foods can be part of anyone's diet. Plus, it's good for your health and the environment. Avoiding animal products just one day a week will save 2,000 animal lives every second, give your body a break, and help preserve forests, seas, land and atmosphere. There is even a movement called Meatless Monday, which translates as "Meatless Monday." This is an international campaign that calls for the elimination of meat products from the Monday menu. Reducing meat consumption by 15% (the equivalent of one day per week) reduces the risk of chronic preventable diseases and has a marked positive impact on the planet. Meatless Monday posts recipes, articles, tips and news on its official website,

And if this idea is close to you, but you do not know what and how to cook, there is a simple solution. Just Wholefoods has specially developed vegetarian alternatives to everyday meals. And most importantly, all products are fundamentally non-GMO, completely natural, almost the entire range is organic. But everything is in order.

Ethical business

Just Wholefoods is a small company founded in 1989 by two committed vegetarians, Ann Madden and James White. The mission of Just Wholefoods was to provide the consumer with quality vegetarian products without artificial colors and flavors, which was not enough at the time.
Just Wholefoods is located in Cirencester, Gloucestershire. It is a small business with 6 full-time employees and few students during a busy period. As co-founder Anne notes, “James and I are very proud of the relationship we have with our people. We've been working with our employees for years and watching their families grow. We also keep in touch with our students - it's always great to see them trample their path when they leave us. "
As the company grew, Ann and James realized the benefits of consuming organic food and began to develop products according to the strict organic guidelines of the European Union. More than 80% of Just Wholefoods' range is now certified organic.
The assortment is growing rapidly and now includes: VegeBear's jelly candies; seaweed jelly with 4 real flavors; mixes for making Falafel, Burger, Chow Mein, Soups; Vegeset (an alternative to gelatin that can be used in sweet and savory dishes).

Sweet wins

What inspires you to create new products? Customer support, of course. Ann shares, “My office was once decorated with a garland of photographs of our little clients munching veggie jelly at their birthdays. This was often the first time the kids had a chance to taste the jelly, and they definitely liked it. It was so great that it pushed us to develop new sweets. "
VegeBear’s Fruit Jellies won the Soil Association Organic Food Awards in 2000 in the Confectionery and Snacks category, and, as the founders of the company admitted, “It was the biggest success.”
“We were thrilled to win, especially in such a competitive category,” notes James. “We have never won anything like this, and it was a complete shock to us. In 2002 we won again in the same category with our "Fruit Fruits". And in 2013 new jellies "With sourness" and "Cola koalas" received gold from the Organic Food Awards. All of our VegeBear’s sweets are award-winning. "
