Lemongrass is very refreshing and relaxing and is often used as an insect repellent.

Lemongrass oil helps revitalize tired minds and is an excellent tonic for the body.

Absolute Aromas Lemongrass Essential Oil is made from non-agrochemical lemongrass, certified by the Soil Association.

Extraction method: oil is obtained by steam distillation of fresh or partially dried grass leaves.

Main therapeutic properties: antibacterial, antifungal, anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic, astringent, digestive stimulant, insecticide.

Contraindications: Do not use for children under 2 years of age. Do not use on sensitive or damaged skin. Avoid use in people with prostatic hyperplasia or glaucoma. Do not use at more than 1% dilution on the skin.

Oil appearance: from yellow to amber.

Chakra: Vishuddha (throat) and Muladhara (root).

Lemongrass has a fresh, clean, citrus scent.

Lemongrass is produced from two completely different botanical species, Cymbopogon. Citratus is only cultivated, especially in Guatemala. Despite its origins in Sri Lanka and India, it is sometimes mistakenly referred to as West Indian Lemongrass. Another type is Cymbopogon Flexuosus, which is only grown in relatively limited areas of India, especially in the state of Kerala.

Try adding one drop of lemongrass, lavender, and geranium to a bowl of warm water and lower your tired legs.

A few drops of lemongrass and cedarwood oil in an aroma lamp will help repel insects during the summer months.
Usage: dissolve 3-5 drops in 10 ml of base oil.
