MODE OF APPLICATION
Preparation:
Hair preparation: do not wash your hair for at least 24 hours before painting. Your natural oil protects the scalp from irritation. Also, your hair should be free of any residual styling and treatment products (including conditioners, 2-in-1 shampoos, etc.).
Test the selected color. It is best to stay within one to two shades of your natural hair color (the color of the growing roots). If you are unsure of the color you choose, test on strands of hair before applying to all hair. If you cannot decide between two tones, it is better to choose a lighter tone.
Carry out a sensitivity test: Although Herbatint is suitable for sensitive skin, it is always recommended to carry out a sensitivity test 48 hours before use (in order to determine possible intolerance to some of the ingredients contained in the product).
Prepare your staining tools: make sure you have everything you need (brush, protective cover, plastic or glass bowl). Depending on the length, thickness and porosity of your hair, the contents of the Herbatint box can be used once or twice. In general, for short to medium hair, you can mix 30 ml of dye (Herbatint Gel) and 30 ml of oxidizer (Developer). If you have very long and thick hair, you will need more packaging for the first use.
3 EASY STEPS TO COLOR YOUR HAIR
-
Prepare paint: Put on gloves and a protective cape (or old towels or T-shirt). In a plastic or glass container (not metal), mix equal amounts of coloring gel and oxidizer (in a 1: 1 ratio) and mix until a homogeneous gel consistency is achieved. The bottle cap can be used as a dispenser (1 cap = 5 ml). Close bottles after use and store until next use. All mixed products must be used and must not be left on next time.
How to mix two or more shades: With Herbatint, you can mix two or more shades to create a unique color. But remember that you must always mix the same amount of dye gel and oxidizer. Therefore, if you want to mix 2 shades in equal proportions, for example 6N and 7D, then you should use 30 ml of 6N, 30 ml of 7D (= 60 ml of coloring gel) and 60 ml of oxidizer.2.Apply Herbatint and wait:
Apply a layer of Royal cream conditioner (tester included in the package) to dry, unwashed hair with a brush, avoiding contact with the scalp. For colored hair: using a brush, apply the dye to the regrown hair roots, leave for 30 minutes, then apply the remaining dye on the remaining hair, leave for another 10 minutes (total dyeing time 40 minutes).
For undyed hair: using a brush, apply the dye to dry, unwashed hair along the entire length, comb well, leave for 40 minutes.
When dyeing, the hair color may differ from the final color, but this does not affect the result.
It is important to adhere to the staining time.
3. Wash your hair and apply conditioner
Tilt your head back to avoid getting paint in your eyes and rinse thoroughly with water until the water is clear. Wash your hair with shampoo, dry with a towel. Apply hair conditioner for 5 minutes, rinse, dry and style your hair as usual. How to do a sensitivity test:
A sensitivity test is highly recommended as some people may develop an allergic reaction or irritation. Please follow these simple steps:
Rinse with water and pat dry a small area of skin on the inside of your elbow or behind your earlobe.
Mix in a plastic or glass container 1: 1 a few drops of the coloring gel and the oxidizing agent. Close bottles with caps.
Apply the mixture to the patch and stick to the tested skin area.
Let dry and wait 48 hours. If you do not observe any reactions, feel free to use Herbatint paints. If you observe redness, irritation, tingling or burning sensation in the test area, rinse thoroughly with cold water and do not dye your hair. If the problem persists, you should consult your doctor.
Caution: Hair dyes can cause severe allergic reactions. Read and follow the instructions carefully. Sensitivity test should be performed 48 hours prior to use. This product is not intended for use by people under the age of 16. Temporary black henna tattoos increase the risk of allergies. Do not dye your hair if you have an itchy face or sensitive, irritated, or damaged scalp. This product is not intended for eyebrows and eyelashes (may cause blindness). Avoid contact with eyes. Rinse immediately with water if product comes in contact with eyes. The product is not intended to be used on a beard or mustache. Wear gloves. Keep away from children. Contains phenylenediamine and peroxide hydroxide. Mixing ratio 1: 1. Store at a temperature of 10 to 30C in a dry place away from direct rays. The manufacturer and distributor are not responsible for user misuse or unsatisfactory results. Therefore, we recommend that you follow the instructions carefully. For optimal coverage of gray hair:
Shades 1N to 8N - 100% coverage of gray hair from the first application. Due to the low pigment content, the 9N and 10N shades must be mixed with a small amount of 8N to achieve optimal coverage of gray hair. If you have more than 30% gray hair and you have chosen the series C (ash), R (copper), D (gold), M (mahogany), then for optimal coverage of gray hair, mix the selected color (for example 4R) with the color of the corresponding natural series (4N). The higher the% gray hair, the higher the% natural series (N) color gel to be used (see table).
For example, if your hair is mostly gray (more than 60%) and you have chosen the shade 4R, you should mix 40 ml of 4N with 20 ml of 4R dye gel and add 60 ml of oxidizer for a 1: 1 match (see paragraph on how to mix two or more shades).

Colored and treated hair: what to do?
Bleached Hair: Herbatint can bring hair back to its natural color. If you want hair 2-3 shades darker within 6N and lighter, we recommend mixing the Gold (D) series with the natural (N) series. If your goal is 5N and darker, add a Copper shade (R series) and avoid C series shades (ash). In both cases, we recommend reducing the staining time by 10 minutes.
Permanent curling: do not use hair dye immediately after permanent curling. We recommend waiting 2 weeks, using a shade lighter than your target, and reducing the staining time by 10 minutes.
Henna-dyed hair: Henna creates a barrier around the hair, making it difficult for the dye to penetrate. You should wait for the hair to grow back.

Herbatint # 1 according to the review in the magazine "60 Millions de Consommateurs" (edition of the French National Institute of Consumers).
During the review, 18 hair dyes were tested, among which were not only well-known brands (Schwarzkopf, Garnier, Palette, L'Oreal Paris), but also brands positioning themselves as natural (Herbatint, Naturtint, Eugene Color). In compiling the rating, various aspects important to the buyer were taken into account: efficiency (gray hair coverage), color duration, feeling during staining, label, toxicological properties, allergies. Herbatint paint (color 4M) was chosen as number one - the paint covered gray hair, provided a long-lasting effect, gave an absolutely satisfactory color with a natural shade. The main reason for choosing this particular paint is to use the least amount of components in the formulation that can increase sensitivity or become toxic. Therefore, the use of Herbatint paint minimizes the health risks associated with the use of permanent paint.

REVIEWS about Herbatint hair dyes
Herbatint is recognized as the # 1 hair color
Caution: hair dyes
Shiny and lush hair flows beautifully and shimmers with a shade of unearthly beauty - this is how "hair" is presented in advertisements for hair dyes. During such videos, the buyer is made aware that dyeing hair is not only useful, but also good for self-affirmation. In our era of youth and beauty, hair is dyed not only to hide gray hair, but also just like that - "change the image" or give an unusual shade.
However, all this hype only masks the disturbing facts that allow the regular use of paint to be associated with various forms of cancer.
In order to get luxurious shades of chestnut, copper, red or black, permanent dye must first chemically damage your hair. Under the microscope, the hair cuticle looks like fish scales. The pigment molecules that the hair owes its color to are stored under these scales in a central shaft. In order for the dye to penetrate the hair, you need to open the cuticle and allow the chemical to reach the molecules of the natural pigment. Permanent paints contain two components: a dye and a reagent. The dye usually consists of a whole set of synthetic dyes and so-called intermediaries: ammonia, diaminbenzenes, phenylenediamines, resorcinol, and phenols.
